Easter Berry Pie Recipe – French Pie Recipe – French Pate Recipe — Eat Well 101



Recipe: Easter Berry Pie In the Christian tradition, Easter is celebrated by offering hard-boiled eggs. In Berry, people decided to hide the eggs under a blonde paste. A block that can be eaten hot or cold, a nice dish in a buffet. Preparation : 30 min Baking : 1 h 15 min Level of difficulty: medium Ingredients Easter Berry Pie Recipe 300 g sausage meat 100 of veal 2 slices ham 2 tablespoons bread crumbs 1 tablespoon parsley 2 onions 2 tablespoons Cognac 400 g puff pastry artisanal 4 eggs – 1 egg yolk 10 g butter 30 g flour (to roll out the dough) Salt and pepper Preparation Easter Berry Pie Recipe Harden the eggs. Meanwhile, prepare your stuffing. Mix together the ham, onions, bread crumbs, parsley and walnuts as well as diced veal. Mix by hand the bread crumbs with the sausage meat. Add salt and pepper. Roll out the puff pastry with the rolling pin and make a rectangle about 22 cm x 16 cm and another of 26 cm x 20 cm. Butter and flour a pan large enough to hold the pie. Place the smaller rectangle of dough and place the flesh in the middle. Shape into a rectangle so as to leave 2 cm on each side. Peel hard-boiled eggs and embed them in the stuffing. Cover the meat with the second rectangle of puff pastry and fold the edges. With a brush, brush the pie with egg yolk and seal the edges well with a fork. Shaping later drawings on the block. Remember to make two small holes on top of the dough so that steam can escape. Put in the oven (no preheating) to 190 ° C for 1 hour 15. Serve hot and golden brown with a green salad or dandelion.
